An omnichannel experience for Franke
From a modern web experience to a digital showroom
THE CUSTOMER
Franke, Swiss provider of kitchen and catering systems
Franke is a global provider of home kitchens and bathrooms.
It also offers a professional catering system, coffee maker and public restrooms.
It has more than 9000 employees and operates worldwide via 68 branches on four continents.
The Challenge
Developing brand presence and creating emotional experiences
Franke’s strategy was called “One Franke, One Strategy, One Brand” and the challenge was to transform the company so that all Franke divisions share a consistent look and feel.
The goal was to improve the customer experience across any touchpoints. This experience had to be consistent and seamless across all web and physical properties of the brand.
The digital transformation project put the customer in the center and enabled a consistent brand presence based on emotions rather than just products.

The Solution
A brand presence on multiple channels
One Inside and Franke worked together to enable a consistent web experience for 100 web properties across the entire Franke group for 68 countries in 80 languages with Adobe Experience Cloud.
The websites offer simpler navigation and information architecture. A powerful product search engine called Product Explorer pulls data from the internal product information system (PIM).
Franke customers can now enjoy a great web experience from their desktop and mobile, anywhere they are.
However, the experience didn’t stop there. Another requirement Franke had was to be able to manage and orchestrate shareable 3D assets from the content management system and use them in-store.
One Inside and its product Inside Reality allow Franke to offer three-dimensional kitchen solutions in digital showrooms. The customer can now experience and see how their future kitchen will look like and customise the elements in real-time.
But the journey doesn’t stop at the showroom. A client of Franke can bring a digital copy of the kitchen, share it on social media, and continue their immersive experience from home on his smartphone or tablet.
Finally One Inside, Adobe and Franke collaborated to develop an experience going way beyond traditional channels and touchpoints with
- responsive websites for 68 countries and 80 languages
- a digital showroom allowing a 3D view of the kitchen with assets stored in the DAM of the system
- a sharable 3D copy for social media and smartphones
